The IEA Carbon Capture and Storage - Model Regulatory Review (CCS Review) aims to help countries develop their own CCS regulatory frameworks by providing a forum for sharing knowledge on CCS legal and regulatory issues. The CCS Review gathers contributions by national, state, provincial and regional governments, at all stages of CCS regulatory development. It also identifies steps taken towards the legal and regulatory goals in the 2009 IEA Technology Roadmap: Carbon capture and storage. The IEA intends that the CCS Review be produced every six months.
